Our SERVE event takes place Friday, June 14 from 9am -12pm and is limited to only 10 participants, so please sign up ASAP. Clothes to Kids provides new and quality used clothing to students from low-income or in-crisis families in the Denver area free of charge.
Volunteers may participate in one of two ways:
1. Volunteers work directly with our clients as a shopping assistant. These volunteers will greet clients, help them find the school clothes they need for their children and check them out when finished shopping. These volunteers need to show a great deal of patience and empathy towards our shoppers who often are in challenging circumstances and sometimes don't speak English.
2. The volunteer can assist with processing incoming donations. These volunteers will sort, tag, size and hang clothing needed to restock the store. This role is essential to keeping the store fully stocked to give our clients the most variety to meet their needs.
In addition to those that can contribute their time, we would like to offer our members the opportunity to support this organization by donating the following items and dropping them off at the following locations prior to June 13th.
- Closed-toed SHOES (in good shape and have structure...no flip flops)
- NEW underwear and socks
*Sizes ranging from 4T – adult (18 years old)
