BRING YOUR BUSINESS CARDS AND YOUR 30-SECOND INTRODUCTION and get ready to make WoMAN connections through one-on-one focused conversations.
We all have something in common, WoMAN! You won't leave this event wishing you had an opportunity to talk or introduce yourself to that one person in the room. Speed networking gives you the chance to network with all attendees at timed, short intervals. As you attend future monthly and pop-up events, you will now have the opportunity to mingle with WoMAN professionals without worrying about "breaking the ice".
About the speaker: Dawn James is the Chief Executive Manager of Process Interventions LLC (www.processinterventions.com). Dawn joined WoMAN to not only build a network of professional women but to help women succeed. Whether helping their success through one-on-one coaching or helping to maximize integration efforts post-acquisition, it is about women helping women! Knowing that other WoMAN members may have similar reasons as to why they joined, there are many other reasons as noted in the data below. “Organizing a speed-networking event with WoMAN members and guests is a perfect opportunity to learn more about one another and how we can help each other succeed in reaching personal and professional goals!”
Below are the statistics provided by our members when asked, "What do you hope to experience by becoming a member WoMAN?” Please reflect upon your personal reason and be ready to share at the event (in 2 minutes or less).

Whether you are new to speed networking or just need a refresher, here are a few tips to help you prepare:
You may want to practice a 60-second statement that includes your name, title or occupation, and what you hope to gain by being a member of WoMAN.
Make sure you have a supply of business cards ready! Bring at least 30.
Bring a pen and notepad as they may come in handy! Making notes on the back of the business cards that you receive is also useful.
Remember, you only have 2.5 minutes, so be ready to pull up your calendar or know your availability for future follow-up meetings!
If there is time, ask more about them. Build your relationship!
